Steel-Frame Rear Extension
Removal of the rear wall with steel goalpost frame, ridge beam and new roof structure for an open-plan extension.
The entire rear wall of the house was removed and replaced with a steel goalpost frame, with a steel ridge beam carrying the new vaulted roof. Blockwork, floor joists and roof carpentry followed, all to the engineer's design.
